For the price paid, this is a great value and I highly suggest it at 6.99 if you’re picking up your case on Amazon so you can frugally package the two and save on shipping. The same product typically runs around $10 at the ATT store. It, like most screen protectors, is a pain to put on perfectly, and because it’s slightly larger than the actual screen (my guess is to cover the seam between the glass and the chrome bezel) it can–how can I put this?–loosen at the edges which if you are obsessive compulsive can drive you a little batty… but really, it does it’s job and if you’re very careful (wash hands, don’t remove OEM screen protector or current screen shield until you’re ready to install, avoid dusty environments (a fab room would work well in a clean suit) then you can get this installed without any big issues. I’ve seen folks use scotch tape on the outer face to use as handles so they don’t have to touch the edges or adhesive side of the screen guard when mounting it which is a useful tip for applying this. Even though 6.99 still seems ridiculous for a piece of plastic that they could probably manufacture by the dozens for less than a cent, Case-Mate does give you three of them, an applicator card to work out air bubbles and a nifty polishing cloth, so it’s one of the better values I’ve seen yet as far as screen guards for the iPhone go. There may be better products with special coatings and layers and a bunch of other marketing hype mumbo-jumbo available, but this one delivers decent performance at a decent price. Just be patient, clean and calm when you mount it up.
